We are so excited about the women who have made time in their schedules to encourage us at this year's Iron Sharpens Iron Women's Conferences! It is going to be a wonderful opportunity for women all across the Northeast to gather together and enjoy stories and seminars that will inspire and build you up as a unique creation of God.
Every Iron Sharpens Iron Women's Conference consists of two keynote sessions and sixteen different equipping seminars. These sessions will cover topics specific to women in every season of life. We will be sure to update the website regularly as the speakers are confirmed. Stay tuned!

Lucinda Secrest McDowell
Lucinda McDowell is a lifelong learner with degrees from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Furman University. She’s a word girl and storyteller who has written 11 books including Live These Words, Amazed by Grace, Spa for the Soul, Role of a Lifetime, God’s Purpose for You, Better Together, A Southern-Style Christmas, 30 Ways to Embrace Life, Fit & Healthy Summer and Quilts from Heaven. She co-directs the “New England Christian Writers Retreat” to encourage writers and speakers. And she absolutely adores my whole family scattered across the country doing amazing things while she writes from “Sunnyside” cottage here in New England.

Gail is a fun-loving, beach-goer, God-fearing, Jesus follower, New Englander. The passion of her heart is to share the truth of God's word with other women. Her scars are deep, but they remind her of the darkness God has brought her out of. God has shown her that it is truly possible to choose joy in any circumstance. It is because of his transforming Grace that she is able to share from her heart and speak into the lives of others.Gail is a inspirational speaker and the co-founder of Take Two Ministries.
Do you remember laughing so hard that your side hurt? Chances are it's been way too long. Comedian Rhonda Corey will change all that! Her quick wit and comical take on ordinary life will leave you gasping for air! She knows the importance of laughter not to mention all the health benefits. Rhonda believes this with all her heart which is why she loves to minister to women in this way. Rhonda is co-founder of Take Two Ministries.
Collette Allen is the Director of Mentoring, Pastors’ Spouses Network of Vision New England which seeks to unifies, encourage and equip caring Christ-centered relationships among pastors’ spouses. She provides mentor training which furnishes leaders with a biblical framework for addressing the unique needs of a pastor’s spouse. She is also the president and founder of Meet Me At The Well Women’s Ministry where she has served for the past 11 years, facilitating workshops, retreats and bringing women together in Christ for encouragement, service and spiritual growth. Collette speaks with honesty and transparency, sharing her personal experiences as a testimony of God’s faithfulness. She has been married for 30 years and the mother of 3 children and 1 one granddaughter. She loves to read, travel and cook.
Sharon Gamble, USA National Director for Moms in Prayer International, is a frequent speaker on the subject of prayer at ladies’ groups and conferences. She loves to share from both personal experience and from the Word of God on the value and necessity of prayer.
Some of her topics include Prayer: A Living Legacy for Your Children; The Delightful Discipline of a Daily Time with God; When It’s Hard to Pray; The Four Steps of Prayer; Sitting at Jesus’ Feet; and Lord, Teach Us to Pray. Sharon writes a weekly blog on the Moms in Prayer website called Monday Love. She has also published a booklet for those going through challenging circumstances entitled Comfort From a Friend.
Sharon is blessed to have a Christian heritage and to have come to know the Lord at an early age while growing up in Massachusetts. She graduated from Gordon College with a BA in history and has taught both middle school and high school. Sharon and her husband, Ray, were married in 1979 and have two daughters, Kathryn and Mary, two sons-in-law, Brandon and Angel, and three little grandsons. She and Ray are looking forward to more grandchildren in the days ahead. (Ask to see her pictures!)
April Williams-McCrory has a passion for marketing and more importantly for Jesus Christ. Starting as a one-person consultancy business out of her home in 1997, April’s business has grown to a 15-person agency known as one of the most innovative creative communications firms in Rhode Island. April became a Christian in 2000 and the journey really began.
In 2009, April became one of the original members of C12 New England – a Christian CEO group. And her business over the past 3 years has seen many humorous moments, amazing stories and dramatic differences as April embraced who she was in Christ and God’s plan for her business. April has been featured as an industry expert by many media outlets including Direct Marketing News, The Wall Street Journal, Enterprising Women Magazine, PRWeek, Boston Herald, NPR and SmartMoney. April also speaks at various business and Christian seminars throughout New England each year.
April is married to Ned McCrory and has a son Alex and daughter Kate. When she’s not cheering for her children’s schools (Go Dawgs and Gamecocks!), she enjoys friendly competition on the links with her fellow golf-loving husband.
Cindi McMenamin is an award-winning writer and national speaker, helping women discover strength for the soul. She has more than 30 years experience ministering to women and inspiring them to let God meet their emotional needs, grow stronger through their alone times, and pursue their dreams with boldness.
Besides speaking across the country, Cindi has made numerous TV and radio appearances on shows such as Family Talk with Dr. James Dobson, Moody Broadcasting’s Prime Time America and Midday Connection, At Home Live, The Harvest Show, 100 Huntley Street, Not Just Talkin’ the Talk, and His Love Extended.
Cindi and her husband, Hugh, live in the San Diego area of Southern California. They have been married nearly 30 years and have a daughter, Dana, who is a graduate of California Baptist University and is working for the Walt Disney Company. The family enjoys traveling together, staying active, and seeing what adventure God will bring them through next.
Pamela Ovwigho, Ph.D., is Executive Director of the Center for Bible Engagement, a division of Back to the Bible. She has spent the past seven years analyzing the spiritual lives of more than 130,000 people. When she’s not asking people questions, Pam is busy fixing up the 100-year-old Nebraska farmhouse she shares with her husband and children.
Lori Stanley Roeleveld
Lori Stanley Roeleveld is a disturber of hobbits who enjoys making comfortable Christians late for dinner. She’s authored an unsettling blog since 2009; a pursuit that eventually resulted in her first book, Running from a Crazy Man (and other adventures traveling with Jesus). Her next book, Jesus and the Beanstalk (Overcoming Your Giants and Living a Fruitful Life), releases September 2016. Her speculative Christmas novella, Red Pen Redemption, is a quick but challenging read if you love history and life’s big questions. Lori grew up in Rhode Island and lives there now with her husband, Rob. She has two grown children, one son-in-law, a day job, and her own Jesus adventure.
